Description

CULTURE: Soak seed overnight in warm water to speed germination. Plant seeds in flats 6-8 weeks early. Allow for unrestricted growth. Transplant when ready, or growth can be stunted.

SUN: Provide plenty of light to avoid tall, leggy growth.

WATER: Avoid top-watering with cold water.

SOIL: Provide light, well-drained loam, rich in phosphorus and calcium, bonemeal or eggshells. Too much nitrogen will over-stimulate plant growth and inhibit fruit formation.

SEED PRODUCTION: Peppers produce perfect, self-pollinating flowers. Different varieties can be grown for seed in one garden.

SUGGESTED Individual Portion: 1 Tablespoon.
