Description

CULTURE: Plant seeds in flats 6-8 weeks early. Allow for unrestricted growth. Transplant when ready, or growth can be stunted.

SUN: Provide plenty of light to avoid tall, leggy growth.

WATER: Avoid top-watering with cold water.

SOIL: Provide light, well-drained loam, rich in phosphorus and calcium, bonemeal or eggshells. Too much nitrogen will over-stimulate plant growth and inhibit fruit formation.

SEED PRODUCTION: Although peppers produce perfect, mostly self-pollinating flowers, they will cross. Grow only one variety at a time for seed.

SUGGESTED Individual Portion: 1/2 Teaspoon.
