Description
CULTURE: Plant seeds in early spring as soon as ground can be worked. Avoid top-watering if possible. Water deeply at the base, keeping tops dry. Water consistently throughout the season. Control beetles with rotenone or pyrethrum. Blights, mosaic and mold can be minimized by keeping tops dry. Rotate in at least 3 year cycles.
Companion plants include: potatoes, cucumbers, corn.
