Description

Specially selected strain from the mountains of northern Italy. More tolerant of cold climates than other varieties. Deep, rich basil flavor. Silky, dark-green leaves that should be pinched back to provide summer-long pleasure from the same plant. 12-18″ tall.

SUN: Prefers full sun.

SOIL: Provide well-drained, rich loamy soil.

WATER: Water seeds immediately after planting and keep moist for 2-4 weeks while germination takes place. Important: During this time, do not let seeds dry out! Water consistently throughout season to stimulate production.

PLANTING: Plant seeds in flats, 4-6 weeks early or when soil reaches 70° F. Hand sow outside by covering seeds with 1/2″ of soil.

SUGGESTED Individual Portion: 1 Teaspoon
