Seed originally found in clay jar in the Grand Canyon. Best tasting, best storing dry bean.

CULTURE: Plant seeds after last frost when soil reaches 60° F. Beans prosper in rich, light, well-drained soil with warm temperatures and full sun. Use seed innoculant to provide rhizobium bacteria to fix nitrogen near roots and increase yields. Avoid top-watering if possible. Water consistently throughout season.

SEED PRODUCTION: Beans produce self-pollinating flowers with little danger of cross-pollination. Allow beans to dry in pod until they rattle. Clean and save in cool, dark and dry location.
