Description
Garnish cucumber salads, cold summer soups or freshly baked mountain trout with the lacy, pale gray-green leaves of this most popular herb. Yellow, umbrella-shaped summer flowers are quite beautiful as cut flowers. Easy to grow for foliage or seeds. 2-3′ tall.
CULTURE: Plant seeds in flats, and transplant as soon as the first real leaves form; or plant directly in 70° F. garden soil. Hand sow by covering seeds with 1/2″ of soil. Often reseeds.
WATER: Water seeds immediately after planting and keep moist for 7-10 days while germination takes place. Important: during this time, do not let seeds dry out! Water consistently throughout the season to stimulate production.
SOIL: Prefers well-drained, slightly-acidic soil and full sun.
SUGGESTED Individual Portion: 1 Tablespoon
