Numerous yellow flower heads grow on their own stalks. The flower head is up to 5 inches across, with 15-19 ray flowers, deeply veined and slightly toothed on the tip. The center is 1 inch or more across, green to dark brown.
SUN: For best results, provide full sun.
SOIL: Performs best in well-drained, composted soils.
WATER: Water seeds immediately after planting and and keep moist for 3-4 weeks while germination takes place. During this time, do not let seeds dry out! Water occasionally for the rest of the season to prolong blossoming.
PLANTING: Rake seeds lightly and cover with approximately 1/4″ soil.
