One of the best cabbages for early garden use. Solid, round, 3-4 lb. grey-green heads on short-stemmed, erect plants. White interior with tightly folded leaves. High yields. Companion plants include dill, chamomile, sage, peppermint, beets and onions.
CULTURE: Plant seeds in flats 4-7 weeks early, or after soil reaches 50° F.
SOIL: Prefers soil high in nitrogen and phosphorus. To reach full size, space varieties at least 18″.
WATER: Water frequently and consistently throughout growing season.
